Callan Welder, L.Ac. MAOM

Bringing Chinese Medicine back to my home town of Marshall is a dream come true. I went to Walnut Elementary School for K-8 and graduated from Madison High School in 1996. I have a 4 year Masters Degree in Classical Chinese Medicine from Daoist Traditions College in Asheville, NC. I am certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology, as well as Massage Therapy.

After spending 6 years in the Pacific Northwest as an avid skier, ski patroller, outdoorsman and carpenter, I decided to move home with my wife to the most beautiful mountains I know. I was brought back to health with acupuncture and massage after compressing two vertebrae in my back from a serious ski accident in Montana. I immediately knew that this was my path.

I have experience treating a wide range of disorders and have a particular interest in pain management, digestive disorders, anxiety, depression and nutritional counseling. I also have a passion for Qi Gong and Tai Ji and love integrating these healing arts into my work with patients.
